Album Notes“Practicing Aloha” features some of Maui’s favorite musicians and vocalists, on an aloha-inspired CD produced on Maui by local radio personality and author Cindy Paulos. “Practicing Aloha” features George Kahumoku Jr., Eric Gilliom, Keli`i Kaneali`i, Gretchen Rhodes, Jamie Lawrence, Kelly Covington, Marty Dread, Joshua Tatofi, and Fulton Tashombe.The title track on the CD was written as a poem for the website practicealoha.org. Practicing Aloha then became a song and a featured music video on the website. It then evolved into this CD, with 12 tracks and a chant by Clifford Nae`ole. The songs on the CD express elements of the nature of aloha and it is a tribute to the beauty and the special aloha spirit that lives in the Hawaiian Islands. |
