Featured on this release are the winners from the 2005 Aloha Festival Falsetto Contests, held annually throughout the islands.

Benson Kam won the event on Hawai`i island; Ni`ihau-born Ronnie Kaohelauli`i won on Kaua`i; Hiroshi Okada from Japan won on Maui; Bill Wynne from New Jersey won on O`ahu.

This CD pays tribute to the enormous contributions which the paniolo (Hawaiian cowboys) have made to the musical and cultural landscape of Hawai`i.
