Album Notes

SELF PORTRAIT marked Teresa Bright's debut as a solo artist.

At the 1991 Na Hoku Hanohano Awards, this wonderful CD was named the Album of the Year, and "Poliahu" was named both the Song of the Year, and Haku Mele (the best new Hawaiian composition). In addition, Teresa was awarded the title of Female Vocalist of the Year.
