Album Notes

Now 20 years old, Raiatea Mokihana Maile Helm follows her debut release -- which earned her the 2003 "Female Vocalist of the Year" Na Hoku Hanohano Award -- with this equally impressive recording. Guest artists include Aunty Genoa Keawe, Keali`i Reichel, John Ka`imikaua, and Raiatea's father Zachary Helm. The songs on this CD were created by some of Hawaii's most successful and prolific composers -- Johnny Almeida, Lena Machado, R. Alex Anderson, John Kamana, Bina Mossman and Tony Conjugacion.

This recording is a prophetic kuleana (responsibility) to perpetuate her Hawaiian heritage
