Album Notes

One of the most enduring and popular groups in Hawai`i, The Makaha Sons of Ni`ihau always fulfilled their mission -- to promote and perpetuate the music of Hawai`i. During their seventeen years together (1976 - 1993) they recorded nine albums on Poki Records.

This second anthology album contains various tracks from the albums released from 1978 through 1981. Although the liner notes contains no lyrics, they are extensive -- filled with interesting "background" information about all of the various members of the group.
