Album Notes

The thought of doing something for oneself usually takes a backseat to doing something for others first. Without the constant urging of a loved one, fulfilling your personal dreams may inevitably remain just a dream.

This project has been a revelation of dreams come true, thanks to those who are living and those who have passed. The collective `ike of all who have shared their na‘au with me, brings me to this path I now walk.

Starting with unrecorded material I had previously written, I began writing new songs, as this album took on a life of its own. In the end, the title unveiled itself. "The White Bathtub" holds many levels of kaona, hidden meanings, that only reveal what the listener asks for.

In this journey called life, we have the responsibility to honor the past, live in the now and leave our heart-prints for future generations. My joys, my fears, my hopes, and my beliefs are contained in "The White Bathtub" that still sits in the middle of my gramma's yard. I hope you jump in too!
