Kawaikapuokalani Frank Hewett has only good memories of his childhood days, growing up in the countryside of Kane`ohe (O`ahu). There was always time to sit and listen to a good story as told by one of his kupuna.

Now this recording of mele are his own mo`o`olelo...Kawaikapu's own stories of the islands of Kaua`i and Ni`ihau.
