Recipients of the prestigious 1996 National Heritage Fellows Award -- one of this nation's highest honors for traditional and folk arts -- brothers Richard and Solomon Ho`opi`i are recognized as one of the most accomplished and respected duos in Hawaiian traditional music. Their mastery of ki`eki`e falsetto singing over the years, has been captured on this anthology album -- from the five albums they have recorded since 1975.
