Hawai`i Loa has been performing on the veranda at Waikiki's magnificent Moana Surfrider Hotel for years. The traditional Hawaiian and original songs on this CD reflect Hawai`i Loa's deep feelings for their culture, music and life experiences as much as they reflect love's various forms -- love between two people, love for the environment, love for others and love for one's people. As a whole, the recording reflects Hawai`i today and yesterday, two realities woven seamlessly together, embracing listeners as they ponder the simple things that make every life worthwhile.
