Album NotesFounded in 1975 by Howard and Olana Ai, Halau Hula Olana has grown to become one of the largest hula schools in Hawai`i. Hundreds of the islands' keiki (children) have passed through the halau (school) doors. Many have taken part in annual hula competitions, performed for four American presidents, for dignitaries, and audiences in Hawai`i and overseas. Liner notes include some (but not all) lyrics. |
