On March 8, 1977, the brief life of activist/musician George Helm was claimed by the seas between Kaho`olawe and Maui.

He may be gone, but George Helm will never be forgotten. In his wake remains the remarkable legacy of song and inspiration from this truly dedicated Hawaiian.
