For decades, Bill Kaiwa's name and talent have been respected and known to countless islanders. Passionate about Hawaiian music and its perpetuation, THIS IS BILL KAIWA consists of moving Hawaiian songs such as "Nani Kipukai" -- a song about the Kaua`i cattle ranch where he was a foreman. The album offers a variety of tempos and innovative uses of musical instruments, such as a wooden bar used to play the steel guitar on "Roselani".
