HAWAIIAN TRADITION was the debut release for the new duo of Amy Hanaiali`i Gilliom and Willie K. Although Willie had been prominent on the island music scene for years, Amy was a relative newcomer. This proved to be Amy & Willie's instant hit album and the public immediately embraced their combined musical talent and incredible stage presence. As a new duo, they became an overnight success story.
