Recorded by Ad and Lucia Linkels during a fieldwork trip to Tuvalu in 1990. This album contains examples of traditional and contemporary song and dance styles from the people of Tuvalu -- formerly a part of the British colony known as the Gilbert and Ellice Islands. Most of the songs are sung by choirs. Liner notes are extensive, but contain no lyrics.
