Album Notes

From the Smithsonian Folkways collection, this all-instrumental album is now available on CD. Japanese ethnomusicologist Tony Ku was recorded by the Smithsonian in 1979, playing Hawaiian tunes on his steel guitar. Accompanying him is Tomomi Sugiura on Spanish guitar.
