Album Notes

When Felix Mendelssohn became the leader of Roland's band in 1939, Roland stayed on as the steel guitarist until 1941 -- when he formed another band of his own, "Roland Peachey and His Royal Hawaiians". The band recorded for Decca, played regularly in London, and toured Europe until the late 1950's.
