Album Notes

This is the second duet album from Hawaiian slack key guitar master Ray Kane and his student from Japan, Yuki Yamauchi.

On this CD, Ray Kane leaves the ki ho`alu playing to Yuki, with Ray's vocal style in the foreground evoking the "real" deep blues of Hawai`i. They are joined by Martin Pahinui, and Ray's wife, Aunty Elodia Kane. Liner notes include information about each song, Hawaiian lyrics, as well as Japanese translations.
