Album Notes

This is the much anticipated debut release from Pilioha -- 2006 winners of the all-acoustic Ka Himeni Ana song contest.

Cousins Glenn Mayeda, Jr. and Gary Kalehua Krug, Jr. -- along with Kamuela Kimokeo are Pilioha ("a family relationship").

Pilioha has chosen each selection on this album to give the listener a holistic view of them -- from immediate family members, distant relatives, mentors, and kupuna throughout the Hawaiian community. You can see Pilioha performing on O`ahu regularly at Aku Bone Lounge (Wednesday nights) and the Charthouse (alternate Friday nights).
