Album Notes

In 1947, steel guitarist Peter Dillingham decided to record some of the favorites of the day. With Bill Akamuhou as the lead vocalist and Bill's group, the Nautical Hawaiians handling backup, Peter took his 6-string steel into the studio. Together they recorded a dozen songs.

These recordings were put away and forgotten until 1999 when Peter found them in a closet a home -- boxes of 78s that had not seen the light of day for over 50 years. Now, restored and remastered, comes this "new" release.
