HAWAIIAN STYLE was the debut album for the Kahauanu Lake Trio -- three men who went on to epitomize perfection in unamplified traditional Hawaiian music from 1955 until well into the 1980s. Anyone who remembers will tell you that the Surf Room at Waikiki's Royal Hawaiian Hotel hasn't been the same since the K-Lake Trio retired.
