At last...the long-awaited debut CD of Holunape, one of Hawaii's premier new groups -- presenting traditional Hawaiian music, performed in the traditional style of the 1940s and 1950s.
This recording is filled with a great mix of the group's original compositions, as well as old standards from musical greats such as Lena Machado, Johnny Almeida and John Pi`ilani Watkins. Guest musicians include Aaron Mahi and Jeff Au Hoy (on steel guitar).
