A very special concert was held at Paniolo Park in Kamuela on the island of Hawai`i on May 19, 1974, featuring some of the top musicians of the islands -- Sonny Chillingworth, Genoa Keawe, Gabby Pahinui, and friends. Plus the "newcomers" such as The Sunday Manoa (Peter Moon, Roland & Robert Cazimero), Na Leo O Nu`uanu (Dennis Kamakahi, Danny Akaka, Bruce Spencer, and Brian Hussey), and the Pahinui "boys" (Bla, Cyril & Philip).
The performances are spontaneous, captured "in the moment" for you to enjoy. No lyrics in the liner notes, but there are many truly great photos of the event and the performers.
