Album Notes

FROM THE TOP is the debut release from First Verse. It's a fusion of island contemporary, R&B, jazz, and reggae with seven original compositions and three covers.

First Verse is a four-piece local island contemporary group which started playing together four years ago.

Allen Ubaldo from Waianae, is the lead vocalist and ukulele player; Ervin Nicolas, from Kapolei is the bass player; Glenn Domingo from Kalihi, is the co-vocalist and guitarist; Bryan Sanchez from Kalihi, is the drummer; Dave Hirano from Pearl City is the saxophone player.
