Album Notes

This debut CD is comprised of 13 original songs written by the members of E&S, and inspired by the diverse culture of Hawai`i and the spirit and beauty of the `aina (land). This is a unique blend of contemporary Hawaiian sounds with love ballads, a jazz instrumental, a classic hapa haole songs, and a traditional Hawaiian song. The band hopes that their songs will inspire local musicians to pick up their guitars and play them at the beach -- much as they used to with Kalapana and C&K songs at `Ehukai as teenagers, nearly 20 years ago...
