This debut recording from Aaron Sala -- already highly acclaimed in the islands for his piano styling on albums by Na Palapalai, Raiatea Helm, `Ale`a, and others -- puts him in the spotlight as a solo artist. He presents piano and vocal interpretations of traditional island mele, plus new songs by Hawai`i composers such as Frank Hewett, Kihei de Silva, Randie Fong, Keawe Lopes and Kaumakaiwa Lopaka Kanaka`ole.
