Having won multiple Na Hoku Hanohano Awards with their two prior releases, `Ale`a presents their third CD. This one is eclectic -- with 14 tracks, 5 of which are mele hou by young composers. As with their prior albums, this one contains mostly traditional Hawaiian mele, but it also features hapa haole, contemporary Hawaiian, and contemporary music. An `ukulele instrumental is also included. Guest musicians are Nina Keali`iwahamana, Keali`i Reichel, John Cruz, and Makana.
